The preliminary investigation into the criminal case involving 18 individuals, including the leaders and members of the revanchist movement in Armenia, has been completed, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
Charges have been brought against activists of the “Holy Struggle” movement under articles related to the preparation of terrorist acts and an attempt to overthrow the government, within the investigation conducted by the General Department of Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
It was also noted that during the investigation period, preventive measures were applied: 17 individuals were detained, while one person was placed under police supervision with a travel ban.
Currently, the case materials have been handed over to the prosecutor overseeing the preliminary investigation for procedural management.
The next stage involves sending the case to court for trial.
