Gevork Nersisyan, the brother of Catholicos Garegin II, and his son Ambarsum Nersisyan have been released under house arrest, APA reports citing Armenian media.
According to reports, the pre-trial detention measure imposed on Gevork Nersisyan and Ambarsum Nersisyan has been changed. They were released under three months of house arrest in exchange for bail set at one million drams.
It should be noted that Gevork Nersisyan and Ambarsum Nersisyan were arrested on November 3. They are accused of obstructing the election campaign of the pro-Western Republican Party during elections in Vagharshapat.
