An explosion that occurred at the Talinskoye oil field, located in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Yugra, Russia, claimed the lives of two people while five were injured, the local government wrote on its Telegram account on Monday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The fire and rescue team was dispatched to the burning area, with the fire spreading as much as 100 square meters. All of the individuals were taken to the hospital, with the doctors saying that the injuries are "serious."
An investigation into the cause of the blast is currently underway.
