A bear has killed two men who were picking berries in Russia's Irkutsk region, Russian media reports.
Another person who was at the scene managed to escape.
According to reports, the bear attacked three residents of Kirensk in the taiga near the village of Krasnoyarovo, more than 80 kilometers from the district center.
Two men, aged 65 and 55, were killed in the attack.
Police officers and hunters arrived at the scene and opened fire on the bear, but it managed to flee the area.
Note that bear attacks on humans have increased in Russia in recent days.
