"Terrorism, drug trafficking is one of the most worrying issues for humanity at this time. From this point of view, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is located in a special geographical location. Therefore, I believe that cooperation with Türkiye in this matter is very important," Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev told journalists after the Cross-border Cooperation Conference of prosecutor's offices of Azerbaijan and Türkiye held in Nakhchivan, APA reports.
The Prosecutor General stressed that the importance of this held conference is very important: "This conference has both political and legal significance. Because the recent increase in transnational crimes makes cooperation necessary. Of course, cooperation between law enforcement agencies, especially prosecution agencies, is carried out both at the international and regional levels. The dedication of our conference today to the topic of cooperation of border prosecutors is essentially a new level. In other words, this is the further development and improvement of the field of legal cooperation between the two fraternal states".
