A new project called "Point of View" has been launched at the "Azerbaijan" pavilion at the Exhibition Center for Achievements of the National Economy in Moscow, which will become a platform for meetings with famous Azerbaijanis living in Russia, APA's Russian bureau reports.
The aim of the project is to create an open dialogue between representatives of the Azerbaijani community, promote Azerbaijani culture and discuss current issues of concern to our compatriots.
The first guest of the project was the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Rahman Mustafayev.
The meeting, which brought together Azerbaijani intellectuals, activists of the Azerbaijani Youth Union of Russia (AMOR), Azerbaijani students studying at Moscow universities, and representatives of the Russian public, took place in a sincere and constructive atmosphere.
The event was hosted by the director of the "Azerbaijan" pavilion, Saadat Kadirova.
She emphasized the importance of the "Point of View" project as a platform for exchanging views, discussing the development prospects of the Azerbaijani community, and strengthening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
During the meeting, the issues of preserving national identity, intercultural cooperation, supporting youth initiatives and educational programs were discussed. Special attention was paid to the interaction between Azerbaijani and Russian family educational institutions, the expansion of cultural and business ties.
Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev expressed gratitude to the project organizers and participants of the meeting for their active position, and emphasized the importance of consolidating the Azerbaijani community abroad.
He noted that such initiatives contribute to the strengthening of friendship between Azerbaijan and Russia, and expressed his readiness for an open dialogue with his compatriots.
During the meeting, the ambassador spoke about the current state of Azerbaijani-Russian relations, the position of official Baku on the current problems of world politics and economy, and the projects implemented by the embassy to unite the efforts of the Azerbaijani community in Russia.
At the end of the meeting, the guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to discuss important issues and expressed their hope that the “Point of View” project, which will become a platform for meetings with well-known Azerbaijanis who have contributed to the development of science, culture, business and public life in Russia, will continue.
