The attack on the police station in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is a warning from the West to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Armenian Hraparak publication wrote citing their sources, APA reports.

The publication citing a source in the ruling Civil Contract party noted that the attack on the administrative building of the Nor-Nork police department in Yerevan had "traces of the West".

According to the publication, it’s believed in the ruling party that the West is increasing pressure on the authorities to force the Armenian side to quickly sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan because exactly after this, the wish of squeezing Russia out of Armenia can come true.

It also was added that the West warned Pashinyan with this method - if he did not act soon, he would be replaced by a more radical authority figure and that person would fulfill the demands of the West.

Note that on March 24, three gunmen tried to enter the administrative building of the Nor-Nork police department. According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, the attackers used a grenade and two people were injured as a result of the explosion. The incident happened after 49 people were detained and entering Voskepar was banned.
