Shares worth 1.74 million U.S. dollars (39,341 shares) of the “Areni HPP” company belonging to the niece of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, as well as 864,000 U.S. dollars, about 13 million drams, and approximately 5,000 euros, will be confiscated in favor of the state, Armenian media reports, citing the country's Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the report, the Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the prosecutor’s claim today regarding the confiscation of assets of illegal origin belonging to Serzh Sargsyan’s niece.
