As a result of Ukraine's UAV strikes, the six-day-long fire at an oil base in Russia's Rostov region spread to houses, APA reports.
According to the reports, it was impossible to localize the fire at the oil base in Proletarski, the province, and the fire spread beyond the base.
The fire first spread to a dry grass field and then to a residential area.
Local residents report that Chapayev Street has been engulfed in flames and six houses have already burned down.
The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia said that 40 personnel and 12 equipments are involved in extinguishing the fire.
It should be noted that as a result of drone strikes carried out by Ukraine on August 18, a fire started at the oil base in Proletarski. Firefighters have not been able to stop the fire for six days.
After the fire, Ukraine again attacked the base with a drone. No one was injured during the attack.
