Armenia's Speaker proposes dissolution of "Armenian-Nagorno-Karabakh inter-parliamentary cooperation commission"

Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament has declared that it is necessary to dissolve the “Armenian-Nagorno-Karabakh inter-parliamentary cooperation commission”, because there is no “authority of the second party”, APA reports citing Armenian media.

Alen Simonyan said this during the session of the parliament in response to the question of Artsvik Minasyan, the secretary of the "Hayastan" faction, "whether he intends to call a meeting of this commission after a three-year break."

At the same time, the term "officials of Nagorno- Garabagh", including "president of Nagorno- Garabagh", is no longer used for the chairman of the Armenian parliament, and he, as a lawyer, believes that the issue of canceling the mentioned format should be seriously discussed.
