If Armenia fails to make a payment to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) budget by the end of 2025, member states may consider various "scenarios," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin, APA reports.
He noted that, however, no country will be expelled from the organization.
The diplomat also mentioned that Armenia’s two-year debt will accumulate by January of next year, adding, "However, other member countries have also experienced cases of debt due to technical, financial, and other reasons."
Note that Armenia's participation in the CSTO has been suspended since February 2024.
