No discussions are being held with Yerevan regarding the participation of the Russian side in the TRIPP project, said Deputy Speaker of Armenian Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
“It is gratifying to know that they are ready for discussions, but discussions about what? There are no such discussions,” he emphasized.
Responding to a question about the possible participation of a Russian company in the project, Rubinyan said: “I do not answer theoretical questions.”
Note that according to Mikhail Kalugin, Director of the Fourth Department for CIS Countries at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian side is ready to hold consultations with Yerevan regarding the parameters of the “Trump Route” initiative.
