Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Alen Simonyan held separate meetings with U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin on August 25, Armenpress reports, citing the Security Council Office.
During the meeting with David Allen, the sides discussed issues related to further cooperation, regional developments and other topics of bilateral interest.
During the meeting with Sergei Kopyrkin, the Russian ambassador congratulated Simonyan on his appointment as Secretary of the Security Council and wished him success in his work.
The sides also discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenia-Russia bilateral agenda.
