The members of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement gathered in front of the Armenian Investigative Committee demanding the release of those detained during the protest held in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yerevan, APA reports citing Sputnik-Armenia.
According to the information, they were met by a living barrier of police officers.
Despite the demand of the protesters to meet police chief Aram Hovhannisyan, instead, the deputy chief of the Yerevan Police, Edgar Petrosyan, wrote an application for it and said that they should wait for an answer.
Later, the protesters chained themselves to each other. The participants of the protest announced that they would not leave the area until the authorities received them.
