Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan considers the opening of borders with Türkiye important, APA’s correspondent assigned to Davos reports.
“As is often said in politics, there are interests. However, these interests are related to the economic development of our countries, our prosperity, friendship with our neighbors, peace, and good relations. The same approach applies to the issue with Türkiye. If we try to look for these interests, we will find them. But there is no need to search for them deliberately. We must open the borders. The Republic of Armenia has interests that correspond to the principle of peace, friendly relations with neighbors, and being mutually beneficial. This is a shared interest,” said Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan made this statement during his remarks at the panel discussion titled “Defining Eurasia’s Economic Identity,” held within the framework of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
