"Two articles of peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia have not been agreed upon yet," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists, APA reports citing Armenian media.

The head of government said that Yerevan received a response from Baku regarding the draft agreement last day.

"This is already the 12th amendment to the peace treaty. The document reflects Azerbaijan's attitude to our previous proposals. We are currently analyzing it in order to formulate response initiatives," the Prime Minister noted.

According to him, the sides have not been able to reach agreement on deployment of European observers on the border. Baku has not officially responded to suggestion of Yerevan about opening communications.

"We have presented our proposals and hope to receive a positive response from Azerbaijan. We are talking about the restoration of railway communication between the two countries, including the transit of cargo from the western regions of Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through the sovereign territory of Armenia. In turn, Armenia will have the opportunity to have a railway connection along the Yeraskh-Megri route," Pashinyan added.
