Armenian PM: Russian border guards will leave posts in Tavush

The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that Russian border guards will leave the posts in Tavush, the Minister said this to journalists, APA reports citing news.am.

According to the Prime Minister, the Russian bases were there because of a certain situation and since the situation has already changed significantly, this change should have its effect in all directions: “This means that we don’t have a front line, but a border. The border is a sign of peace and this will mean that Armenian and Azerbaijani border guards will be able to cooperate with each other and protect the border independently," the head of Armenian government said.
