Armenia and Azerbaijan have already established peace by signing documents in Washington, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an online press conference, APA reports.
“What is happening today is a historic event. I have been saying for several months that there will be no war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, there will be peace. Today, we can say that peace has been established, and it has been established within the framework of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our countries,” he said.
Pashinyan added that the opening of communications and borders will attract billions of dollars in investment to the Armenian economy. He called on the citizens of the country to unite around the peace agenda.
