A telephone conversation was held between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron, the PM’s office informs, APA reports citing Armenian media.
The premier presented to the president of France the results of the negotiations held on August 8 in the US capital, Washington DC; in particular, the initialing of the Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the joint petition to the OSCE on the dissolution of its Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project.
PM Pashinyan emphasized that the established peace opens up new investment opportunities in Armenia and the region.
Also, the interlocutors mutually expressed their willingness to continue active political dialogue on bilateral and international agendas. Furthermore, PM Pashinyan thanked President Macron for his continued support.
