Armenian PM: EU mission mandate in Armenia can be extended for another two years

“The opinion of Armenian nation regarding the rapprochement between the European Union and Armenia,” Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia said at the press conference held today, APA reports.

He commented on the statements of the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan regarding the eagerness for Europe in the Armenian society. He reminded his statement made during his speech at the European Parliament about Armenia's willingness to get closer to the Union as the EU considers possible.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that in that matter, it is necessary to take into consideration the extent to which the Armenian people consider this rapprochement possible.

Nikol Pashinyan also said that the mandate of the EU mission in Armenia can be extended for another two years.
