Armenia and Azerbaijan will establish working groups within the framework of agreements on the opening of communications, said the country’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, APA reports citing Armenian media.
In response to journalists’ questions about the control mechanism of the route referred to as the “Trump route” project, the minister noted that the process involves the creation of working groups, and they will provide additional information.
Khudatyan avoided answering a question regarding control and customs procedures, only emphasizing that the road will be under Armenia’s jurisdiction and all technical and substantive issues will be resolved within this framework.
