Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, APA reports citing Armenian media.
The meeting took place on October 5. The parties noted with satisfaction the active agenda of political contacts between Armenia and Iran.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to mutually beneficial cooperation projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure development, and the opening of communication links. Ararat Mirzoyan briefed the Iranian President on the progress of the TRIPP project.
The parties also exchanged views on issues regarding regional stability and security.
The matter of Iran's high-level participation in the COP17 conference to be held in Yerevan was also discussed during the meeting.
