"Armenia does not participate in any plan against any country," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said during his speech at the foreign relations committee of the parliament, APA reports.
"I assure you and state officially that Armenia does not participate in any plan against anyone and does not build its relations on it," the Armenian minister said as he spoke about the foreign policy course of his country.
"If you mean Russia and the deepening of our relations with the West, then I can be completely frank: The deepening of our relations with the West and the European Union (EU) is not directed against Russia, it does not intend to break relations with this country.
The deepening of relations with the EU is not intended to be used even against neighboring countries. The goal is to increase Armenia's security guarantees only.
This is our position: Complete normalization of relations with Türkiye, implementation of the peace process with Azerbaijan, and again, all these steps are not directed to anyone," Mirzoyan noted at the committee meeting.
