Another criminal case related to the 44-day war has been submitted to court in Armenia, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia said in a statement, APA reports.
It was noted that Colonel Artur Ohanyan, commander of a military unit (number undisclosed), showed dishonest behavior in fulfilling his official duties and failed to carry them out properly on October 6–7, 2020, which led to severe consequences due to negligence.
The commander of another battalion from the same military unit, Lieutenant Colonel G. M., has also been charged alongside Artur Ohanyan.
They are being charged under various articles of the Criminal Code.
It is noted that Colonel Artur Ohanyan is the son of former Minister of Defense and MP Seyran Ohanyan.
