The Belarusian State Standard Committee has banned the sale of Armenian cognac "Yerevan 2800" due to non-compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union, APA reports.
According to the State Standard registry, the eight-year-old cognac "Yerevan 2800" produced by the Armenian company ZAO "MAP" in the Armavir region has been deemed a hazardous product. "Testing revealed that the 'mass concentration of tannins,' with a minimum standard of 0.3 g/dm3, was 0.14 ± 0.01 g/dm3. This indicates that the product was given the appearance and certain properties of a specific product, but it cannot be identified as the product it was claimed to be," the State Standard reported.
The sale, import and circulation of goods is prohibited, and conformity assessment documents are no longer valid.
