The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has brought new charges against Movses Hakobyan, former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Armen Arutyunyan, former head of the Rocket and Artillery Forces, the institution's press service has released information about this matter, APA reports.
It was stated that the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a lawsuit demanding the confiscation of their properties worth 4.5 billion drams (11 million US dollars).
Note that a new criminal case has been opened in Armenia against Movses Hakobyan, former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Armen Arutyunyan, former head of the Rocket and Artillery Forces Command.
They are accused of purchasing unusable military equipment from Russia during their tenure in 2014.
