Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani in Tehran, APA reports, citing the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to regional security and stability, as well as the current state and prospects of Armenia–Iran bilateral cooperation.
Papikyan emphasized the importance of resolving the situation around Iran through diplomatic means.
The meeting also touched upon the security environment surrounding Armenia and Iran.
