Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper, Armen Grigoryan posted on his Facebook account, APA reports.
It was noted that they discussed issues of defense cooperation at the meeting.
"We emphasized the need to ensure stability in our region. We exchanged views on the implementation of bilateral joint programs, we emphasized the deepening of cooperation and interaction between the armed forces of the two countries within the framework of peacekeeping activities," he noted.
The meeting took place within the framework of the visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia to the United States.
