The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia released a statement on the recognition of the State of Palestine, APA reports.
It is stated in the statement that "Armenia has always advocated for a peaceful and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue on various international platforms and supported the 'two-state' principle for the resolution of the Israel-Palestine conflict."
"We are convinced that this is the only way to ensure the realization of the legitimate aspirations of Palestinians and Israelis.
Based on the above and reaffirming its commitment to international law and the principles of equality, sovereignty, and peaceful coexistence of peoples, the Republic of Armenia recognizes the State of Palestine," the statement says.
