Armenia confirms readiness to host next ministerial meeting in 3+3 format, Armenian Foreign Ministry said as a response to Sputnik Armenia's request for comment, APA reports.
The ministry said that this was announced back in 2024.
"Armenia expressed its readiness to host the next ministerial meeting during the third meeting of the "3+3" consultative platform in Istanbul on October 18, 2024," the Foreign Ministry said.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry added that the public will be informed in due time when the date and venue of the meeting are determined.
It should be noted that earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan that the third meeting in the 3+3 format on the South Caucasus is in the preparatory stage. According to him, Moscow proposes to hold the next meetings in Baku and Yerevan.
