Armenia doesn’t plan to participate in the CSTO Partnership 2024 command-staff exercises which will take place in September in Kyrgyzstan, the bloc’s press service said in a statement, APA reports citing Armenpress.
“The Armenian side has notified that it doesn’t plan to participate in the military exercises,” the CSTO said in a press release.
Personnel from other member states – Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan – are set to participate.
Armenia has also opted out of another upcoming CSTO event, the Cobalt 2024 drills due Aug. 14-16 in Russia.
