756 people have been accused of desertion in Armenia, the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia told Sputnik Armenia, APA reports.
It was noted that it is about the persons charged with the articles of desertion, and refusal to serve during the 44-day war and when martial law was declared in the country.
The information reads that 1,786 criminal cases were opened against 10,687 people, and 118 cases against 143 people were sent to court. 64 of them have already been convicted, and the rest of them are still on trial.
