"The fundamental problem in the context of relations with Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is the Organization’s actual refusal to determine the area of responsibility in Armenia," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the parliament, APA reports.

According to him, Yerevan has not refused the CSTO mission to be sent to Armenia, but asked to determine where it will operate.

“CSTO has never responded to Yerevan’s numerous statements regarding the threats to Armenia’s security,” the Armenian leader stated.

He noted that they are looking for new partners and new weapon suppliers: “Currently, the leadership is diversifying the relations in the field of security, is are looking for new partners and new weapon suppliers. The government does not intend to announce a change of policy until a decision is made to withdraw from the CSTO, otherwise it will lead to inconsistency."
