Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s plane could not land in Moscow at night due to the temporary closure of the airspace in Moscow, said the Prime Minister’s press secretary, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, APA reports, citing Armenian media.

According to the report of APA’s Moscow bureau, TASS has published information, citing a source, that the plane presumed to belong to Nikol Pashinyan has landed in Moscow.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s plane was unable to land in Moscow, APA reports, citing Baza.

The plane carrying Nikol Pashinyan could not land in Moscow on the night of December 11 due to an attack by Ukrainian drones.

Pashinyan’s aircraft circled over the Tver region for about an hour while waiting for permission to land, but authorization was not granted.

As a result, the plane proceeded to Saint Petersburg and landed at Pulkovo Airport at around 1 a.m.

Pashinyan had departed for Moscow en route to Saint Petersburg to participate in the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Intergovernmental Council.
