Ambassador: Construction of TRIPP to begin early next year

Construction of TRIPP will begin in early 2027, Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan said, APA reports.

He noted that construction of the project will begin in early 2027.

“If we look at how the project has developed over the past year and what achievements we have made, I must say that we have quite significant results for a project of this scale. As you know, a study is currently underway, and I think the results will be finalized within the next month or two. After that, in early 2027, I believe we will be able to see concrete steps,” the ambassador noted.

According to the ambassador, the groundbreaking ceremony will take place early next year: “We have already gone through all the stages, there have been numerous delegations from our side, as well as interagency meetings from Washington, and now the project has reached the stage of practical implementation. We think that the groundbreaking ceremony could take place early next year.”
