A group of activists in Moscow blocked the office of Roskomnadzor in protest against the shutdown of foreign messengers and social networks, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
As a sign of protest against the blocking of foreign social networks and messengers in Russia, a group of activists locked the doors of Roskomnadzor’s office with bicycle locks and hung a placard bearing slogans against the agency.
It should be noted that Roskomnadzor has begun restricting Telegram.
The agency has completely blocked the WhatsApp messenger and the YouTube platform across the country.
Earlier, the Facebook and Instagram social networks had also been blocked in Russia.
