5.0-magnitude quake hits Uzbekistan

Kazakhstani seismologists have recorded an earthquake in the territory of Uzbekistan, according to the seismological stations network of the Ministry of Emergencies, APA reports citing Kazinform News Agency.

The quake occurred on November 6, at 04:57 a.m., at a depth of 15 kilometers. Its epicenter was 1,195 kilometers to the southwest of Almaty.

The magnitude of the quake was 5.0 on the MPV scale. The coordinates of the epicenter are 40.37° north latitude, and 63.08° east longitude.
