“I have not expressed my view on Huseyn Abdullayev’s MP mandate,†Central Election Committee (CEC) secretary Natig Mammadov told APA. According to him, former MP Huseyn Abdullayev appealed from the verdict of Sabayil District’s court.
Natig Mammadov stressed if Appeals Court rejected Sabayil District Court’s decision the case will be returned to first state. He said in that case there is theoretical possibility that MP mandate can be reinstated. “In general, this issue is not connected with CEC. This issue is out of and beyond CEC’s competence,†he said. /APA/
