MPs raises issue on Gabala RS

Today the last meeting of spring session of parliament started working. Before debating agenda issues MPs touched on some questions, APA reports. Panah Huseyn touching upon the issue of Gabala radar station said this radar is Russia’s military base in fact. He said as parliament approved the issue of Russia use of radar MPs should have a say on current situation over the Gabala RS. MP said Iranian parliament threatened Azerbaijan on this issue. MP Fazil Gazanfaroghlu said there is need for debating issue at the state level. Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan parliament Ziyafat Asgarov striking back Panah Huseyn said Gabala RS is not military base but analytic center. “The agreement between Azerbaijan and Russia emphasized it”.
Parliament speaker Oktay Asadov said without Azerbaijan’s consent it is impossible to take any step on Gabala RLS. Reminding Russia president Putin’s release on this issue with Ilham Aliyev Oktay Asadov called on MPs not to exaggerate it. Speaker said Gabala RS is not military base.
MP Elmira Akhundova raised issue on driver’s card saying that measures should be taken against auto hooligans./APA/
