Parliament’s regional affairs standing commission met. The meeting discussed issues on amendments to the law “About territorial structure and administrative-territorial division”, APA reports.
The commission chairman Arif Rahimzada said a long time has passed since the approval of the current law. “Azerbaijan administrative units have significantly changed from that time. That is why this law needs amendments. According to the new amendments, administrative-territorial units are being specified”.
After debates, the draft law was submitted to the parliament. /APA/
