Scandal occurs in Azerbaijani parliament

Speaker Ogtay Asadov ordered to switch his microphone off. The parliamentarian disagreed with it and stood up to protest. Parliamentarian Fezail Agamali, who made remark to Hussein Adullayev for speaking form his place, faced the insults of the opposite side. Agamali slapped on Abdullayev’s face, which lead to strong quarrel between them. Huseyn Abdullayev was ordered to leave the hall. Baba Tagiyev tried to stand to the tribune. But after speaker’s protest and interference of other parliamentarians he returned to his place. Musavat members protested that their microphones were switched off.
After a while Fezail Agamali took the floor and said he couldn’t but answer this ill-breeding.
“There are nearly 60-70 ungovernable men around Huseyn Abdullayev. Law enforcement bodies are aware of it and should take measures,� he said.
Fezail Agamali apologized for the happening.
Commenting on the issue Ogtay Asadov expressed his regret and instructed the Disciplinary Committee to investigate the case and take necessary measures.
The parliamentarians expressed their regret and apologized to the government members.
Abdullayev told journalists that he regrets the unpleasant happing at the parliament.
“But, I could not stand when Fazail Agamali interrupted me for many times despite my warning,� he said. /APA/
