Fenerbahce Beko clinched its second EuroLeague championship on Sunday with a hard-fought 81-70 win over Monaco in the Final Four showdown at Etihad Arena, cementing its return to the top of European basketball, APA reports citing Türkiye Today.
The Istanbul-based club, making its seventh Final Four appearance in the past decade, advanced to the title game after defeating Panathinaikos 82-76 in the semifinal, while Monaco earned its spot by beating Olympiacos 78-68.
In the final, Monaco opened strong, taking a 20-18 lead after the first quarter, but Fenerbahce gradually took control and entered halftime ahead 35-33.
