Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team reaches final in European Champ for the 10th time

Azerbaijani women’s volleyball team has reached the final of the European Championship, Apasport.az reports

Azerbaijani team, competing in Group D, secured 2nd place before the away match against Austria. Our volleyball players, winning the first two sets with scores of 25:14 and 25:20, will get at least 1 point in this match.

Our national team will play in the European Championship for the 10th time in a row. Our team, which started this tradition in EURO-2005, twice took 4th place as a semi-finalist of the tournament.

This time, our volleyball players advanced to EURO-2023, organized in 4 countries. The final stage of the competition will be held in Belgium, Italy, Estonia, and Germany.

Notably, Slovenia took 1st place and Georgia took 4th place in the D group in which our national team is placed.
