Silver vase made in Warsaw in 1671 was found and handed over to Museum. The vase reflects its date and word “GERB BUCH-Varschav”. To him, this is not the first finding in Zagatala region. Polish zloty and XIX–century scales were found in Katekh village of Balakan. Soltanov related these findings with tragedies of Poles occurred at the beginning of XIX century. To him, after separation of Poland among European monarch states, majority of them was sent in toe exile to South Caucasus. They were exiled to north-west Azerbaijan, concretely to Zagatala. Poles established many communities here and built Polish church. The church stays in Zasgatala at present. Soltanov noted that exiled Polish officers joined Zagatala rebellion on 1863. Sultanov added that activity of polish community in north-west Azerbaijan was one of the closed facts of history and it should be investigated within the framework of the current relations between Azerbaijan and Europe.
