Armenians scratched crosses on Azerbaijani monument Sari Musa tomb, chief of Azerbaijani Monuments Protection Public Union Faig Ismayilov told APA. He said that Sari Musa tomb in the village of Khachinturbeli in Aghdam region dates to Ilkhanid period. The tomb over grave of Gutlu Khaja was made by a man called Shahbanzar in 1314. All elements of Karabakh architecture were preserved while building the tomb. Armenians destroyed all historical and cultural monuments as a result of the ethnic cleansing policy in 1988-1994. They did not destroy it as they claimed it resembled cross and appropriated it.
Sari Musa tomb is a valuable sample of Azerbaijani architecture. /APA/
