ANAS researchers visit Guba

They visited mass graves found in Guba in April this year. It is supposed that these people were killed by Armenian in 1918. Maisa Rahimova said that AZN 93,000 have been allocated for researches in mass graves. Since the money has not been transferred to the instituteâ€™s account the researchers visited Guba at their own expenses. Besides, they need AZN 26,000 to complete the researches. The institute will do it at its own expenditure.
Scientific researcher Gahraman Agayev told APA that his expedition will stay in Guba for a month and make researches.
Agayev noted that the expedition will carry out extra excavations in the mass graves and found out all bones.
Deputy Head of regionâ€™s executive office Yusif Abidov told APAâ€™s local bureau that the commission set up regarding the mass graves will held the expedition, the establishments around the mass graves will be knocked down if necessary and their owners will be paid compensation. /APA/
