Events in Heydar Aliyev Palace can be followed from so-named park after thorough repairs

Thorough repair and rehabilitation works are started in Heydar Aliyev Palace, Culture and Tourism Ministryâ€™s press service told the APA.
The building is being repaired on the base of project prepared by Turkish â€œPim Projeâ€ company. â€œAgrartikintiâ€ JSC hold rehabilitation works.
Thorough amendments are intended in the inside, outside and around of the building in the project. The building will be covered with marble, illuminating system will completely be reconstructed, special glasses brought from Italy installed. Height of the entry of the building will be lifted 1 meter and automatic doors will be established. Palace will be equipped with update facilities and modern technologies. Amendments will be held in VIP rooms, singersâ€™ room will be repaired due to modern standards. Bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev will be established in the foyer of the palace. 2150 seats will be lifted up to 2165 after the reconstruction. Audience will be given special earphones in the seats, the booking-offices of the Palace will also be repaired.
Rehabilitation works will also be implemented in the roads in front of the building. Automatic bars will be installed to stop vehicles in front of the building and they will be used during the events to be held in Palace. People can follow State events to be held in the Palace outside with the help of monitors. Materials produced in USA, Japan, Germany, Italy and Austria will be used. The rehabilitation works will over in September, 2008.
It should be noted, the Palace stopped its activity from March 16 due to rehabilitation works. /APA/
