Türkiye invites Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan to Istanbul for quadrilateral meeting

The foreign ministers of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan will meet in Istanbul at the end of August, APA reports.

This was stated during a telephone conversation between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar.

According to Turkish media, Ishaq Dar accepted Hakan Fidan's invitation to participate in the meeting.

It should be noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan previously said that there was a high probability that Egypt would join the Mecca Agreement reached between Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Under the agreement, an external attack against any of the parties will be regarded as an attack against the other member countries.
