Turkish President's chief advisor passes away at 53

Yiğit Bulut, Chief Advisor to the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and a member of the Presidential Economic Policy Board, has passed away, APA reports citing NTV channel.

Yiğit Bulut, who had been undergoing treatment for cancer for a long time, died at the age of 53 in one of Istanbul's private hospitals. According to reports, his health had significantly deteriorated in recent days.

Yiğit Bulut was appointed Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister in July 2013. On August 30, 2014, he was appointed Chief Advisor to the President. He was also a member of the Economic Policy Board operating under the Presidency.
