The provincial police units conducted an operation in a house located on a road leading to Elmalık village, near the city center.
During the operation, a shootout occurred between the police and members of the group, resulting in the injury of seven police officers.
It is reported that the operation is continuing with the support of special forces sent from Bursa.
The condition of the injured police officers is reported to be stable.
